Udyam Registration


It is a government registration which certifies micro/small/medium businesses or enterprises by providing a legal certificate and a unique number. The object of this scheme is to provide the maximum benefits to medium or small-scale businesses or industries in India, who are registered under MSME through their Aadhar Card Number.

Any person or business entity be it, partnership, proprietorship, LLP or Pvt. Ltd can apply for MSME.

  • Process

    Udyam registration can be done by following steps:

    • Visit the official website https://udyamregistration.gov.in/

    • Put your Aadhar number and the applicants name, after that click ‘Validate and generate OTP’

    • Enter the OTP sent and Fill all the fields in the registration form.

    • After filling all the details, the applicant must click on ‘Submit’ button to generate OTP which will be sent to email id mentioned for registration.

    • The Applicant have to enter OTP received on mobile (linked with Aadhaar) second time.

    • The Applicant must enter ‘Captcha’ before clicking Final Submit button.

  • Term

    Udyam Registration is valid for infinite period as long as the unit is operating.

  • Documents Required

    The documents required for the registration are the basic documents like Personal Aadhar Card of the owner, Name of the owner, Category (SC/ST/OBC/General), Business Name, Type of organization, Postal Address, Date of Commencement, Previous registration details (if any), Number of workers or employees, Investment in machinery/plant/equipments, details of the nearest DIC.
